Pregnancy Jounral 6 weeks

Today I am 6 weeks along. I have started that lovely little thing they call morning sickness. I have been feeling yucky but this morning was bad. I didn't think it was ever going to end. I have started to show a little more. I have some left over baby weight from having Shelby.So it is no surprise to me that I am showing already this time around. I am just waiting until I go in to the doctor in a few weeks to find out if I am correct on my due date or if I am farther along then I think I am.

5 weeks

Well today I am 5 weeks. I have started feeling more tired and getting a little sick to my tummy. I am going in on the 11th of January for my first appointment. I will be about 7 1/2 to 8 weeks. I can't wait to find out a true due date. We are all very excited about this new little one.

I got 2nd Place

I used a Gingerbread house kit to make my cute little house. I deiced to take it down to the Christmas light parade that we were going to in town. We had a blast it was so much fun. There were about 10 houses and I got 2nd place for having the most candy on my house. I got the ribbon that is in the picture for winning that. I am already brainstorming for next year first place here I come.

Shelbys One Year Check Up

Today we went to the dr for shelby's well baby check up. She is 24 lbs and 31 inches tall. She is doing really good. The doctor said she is in the 75 % for her weight and 90% for her height. So is growing up so fast.

We don't get the entire family together like that very often. Now only if my brother could have been here too and we could have had someone other then Kyle to take the picture it would have been just perfect. But I still love it.

My weekend

My weekend ends on a sad note...

My mom and my sister had to go home on Saturday. I miss them already.

Both of my kiddos are sick, they both have colds. We are working on getting them all better. I just don't feel good either.I think that I am getting sick too. Kyle has already had the cold so I guess I am next in line.

Weeks are winding down in my second set of classes. I am in week 5 and have 4 more weeks to go. I get two weeks off during Christmas break. From Christmas eve to the 7th of January. I need a break the classes I am taking right now are really hard. I am having some issues with the assignments that I have. It is just taking more out of me then I have to give right now.

I need some time to clear my head and get back on track again. Wish me luck this week.

Shelby is on the move

She has been trying to walk alot lately. Well she is walking more and more everyday. She takes more steps and was long distances every time. I am still trying to catch her with the camera. It always seem that she does it and then stops just as I get the camera out of the bag. She is growing up so fast.

Shelby's First Birthday

Well Shelby's first birthday didn't go as planned. For starters I had invited 4 other kids who ended up getting sick during the week and didn't come so my kids wouldn't end up getting sick. I had made party bags and planned to let the kids make their own party hats. So before the party started I had to make up a bag to take to their parents so that they could still get there party stuff even if they won't here to enjoy the party they could still have fun like we all did.

Now on the fun part of this the cake……

Gabe helped Shelby blow out her candle because she just wanted to mess with the cake and try to touch the flame on the candle.

Shelby liked it so much that by the end of the night she looked like this. After all the gifts were opened I think she was done for the day.

Everyone got a gift for both Gabe and Shelby so that Gabe didn’t feel left out. They got a lot of stuff. Shelby got 3 baby dolls and a V smile Baby, and a play chair with a lamp and table that makes sounds and teaches colors and shapes. Gabe got a dump truck and an out fit and a movie viewer toy. And they each got a animal ball that shakes and giggles.

We had a full day. It was very fun but I am glad that each of my kids have birthday in a different month that are far apart. I don’t think I could do more then one party a month like this.

How shelby came in to this world

A year ago on this very day this is how my whole world changed. God sent me a little girl to love forever.


About 4 am that morning I got up to go to the bathroom and had some really bad contractions. I got on line and was trying to time them but it hurt so back in my back I couldn't sit for long. So I got up and got my mom up to rub my back with my little back massager she had bought for me. She asked what the pains felt like and when I told her she decided to start timing them. Well they were coming two to three min tunes apart with no break in between. I was lying on the floor of my living room in tears. Screaming in pain from how bad they hurt.

So my Grandma went to get Kyle up out of bed to come be with me. He touched my back and I looked at him and told him "not to $%^&*(@ touch me." I was in pain because of him. My mom thought I was going to do bodaly harm to him.lol. So we get ready to go to the hosptail and it took me ten mintunes to get to the front door and out to my truck to leave. Do to all the contractions and pain. We went by my MIL and picked her up on the way.

Kyle tryed not to hit the bumps that he had tryed so hard not to miss befor. And everytime he did he would almost lose his fingers because I was griping his hand so hard.

We live about 45 mintunes from my hosptail so we had called them to let them know we would be there in 45 mintunes and needed a bed. They said ok. So we had a room waiting for me when I got there.

When they got me back to my room they checked me. I was 7 cm's ( 6:30 in the morning) I got my epidual not long after that.it hurt at first but after a little while I was great. Until the Shaking started. I was shaking like I was have secures of some kind. It went really quick from there. I did infact speak to jessica at 10 cm. She wasn't just making it up. I almost dropped the phone because I was shaking so bad.

I felt my water break and called the nurse to come in. She came in and said that my water had a leak in it and had not fully broken. Shelby had moved her head to cork it . So the doctor came in a poped it with her fingers.

I am sitting there waitng for all the great pressure that you get befor you can push and the nurse come in and says that I have a lady out side calming to be my aunt mandy and wants to come in. So out of the blue my aunt mandy shows up to be part of the birht. She is my aunt that makes plans to do things and never shows up. But she was there so we let her be part of it..

But they said that the baby was almost crowing and wanted to wait a little while for the baby to come down more on her own. So I am sitting her waiting on that I felt this god awful pain down there and the nurse said ok it is time to start pushing again . Well when the hair on her head became visible the nurse tells me that she can see hair and lots of it.

She had me push one more time and then she was like a inch from coming out. And she runs out of the room to get the doctor and she had just enough time to get back and have me push again and at 12:55pm Shelby Joyce Cox was born. I was pooped on as soon as she was put on my tummy. LOL guess that is what she thought about her first look at the world.

I was told that the umbillical cord was twice the normal size and so was the placenta. She asked if I had been told that it was twins. And I said no but I had thought it was in the beginning. Due to the fact that I had a misscarriage and then I find out that I was 7 weeks pregant; so I was pregant with twins and lost one in the early stages and just never got my horomones back together after that.

Well I just wanted to say who all was in the room with me befor I forget, My dear Husband Kyle, His mom Venita, My mom Kathy, My aunt Mandy and My wonderful nurse Shirely. I couldn't have done it without all of them there to help me. Thanks guys!!!!!

Well I spent 4 hours in the L&D room after she was born because of my Blood Pressure was doing werid stuff; So when I finally got to go to my other room she had her first birth which she didn't like at all. She tryed to breastfeed for the first time and it went ok but I didn't have much milk yet.

I was in labor for From 4:30 am to 12:55 pm so that is 8 hours and 25 mintunes; But it was the best thing in the world. I felt so much better after all the swelling went down. Now I feel great.

We have been giving Shelby a baby spoon at dinner and she loves it. Well tonight she was eating mash potatoes with it and thought it was a blast. I had to take some messy face pictures to share.

She had so much fun feeding her self tonight. It was cute to watch her do that for the first time. She is going up so fast. I can't believe how fast they grow in such a short amount of time.

Shelby's first advantage with a cupcake

Today I promised Gabe that we could make cupcakes together. Well I ended up making them by myself after his dad told him he would take him out side to play baseball (that is Gabe's favorite thing to do outside) So after dinner we had cupcakes for desert. Shelby has had pieces of cake given to her but she never had one all to her self before. I wanted to get a peek at what to expect for her party next week. Well lets just say it is going to be fun epically when she get to the frosting part of her cake. This cupcake wasn't frosted yet. She loved it.

UpDate

Well...

I just finished my first two classes. Now I am on the next two. I got an A on my final project in one class and I am still waiting on the other one to come back to me. I am super excited. I love school.

Well Shelby got her a new bed the other day too. We paid 100 bucks and it is a pink race car bed. We are going to set it up in Gabe's room for now until we get her room done. I don't think she is going to be sleeping in her crib for much longer. She wants to sleep on her brothers bed. I think it is so funny.

She has been trying to walk this week. She has taken 4 steps and then drops and crawls. She is growing up so fast. We have been working on party plans. Just 3 weeks away.

Gabes New bed

I got a little tikes catalog in the mail the other day. Gabe found a race car bed in there that was 300 bucks. And that was all he talked about for like two days. So I got on the craigslist site and found one that cost us 60 bucks and it came with the board to hold up the mattress. So now Gabe has a new bed. The next adventure is to find Shelby a bed similar to it. She really likes it.

Well mine idea of it is to give some one a second chance to fix what they did to you and make it better. I have had alot of people hurt me in many different ways over the years and months in the past. But that is the past and keeping a gourd isn't' going to make me a better person. I have been doing alot of thinking in the past few days and have decided to forgive and forget those who have done me wrong and hurt me. Werther it be a friend who said hurtful things or an ex boyfriend out hurt me in some way or another. A family member who left and said hurtful things to me. Or most of all a family member who did unspeakable things to me.

Over the years and months these things have changed my life and made me in the a better person because of all of it. I am a stronger person.

I forgive you all ever one of you. And my God forgive you when you ask for it.

Phooson was a Blast.

Well to explain to the non-Arizona residents that read my blog phoenix and Tucson are about an hour or so apart in distance. I live in between both of them. A radio station(Kiss 104.7) that has a show that plays in both phoenix and Tucson put on a concert in Casa Grande and called it PHOOSON> A mix of Phoenix and Tucson.

We got to see Jordin Sparks,Enrique Iglesias, Fabolous , Ne-Yo,Jonas Brothers, Kat DeLuna, Paula DeAnda. Matt Leinart Allison DuBois, from the median.

Criss Angel the Mind freak was said to be there too but he never showed up until he came over the video screen with apologies of not being there he was working on a stunt in Las Vegas and couldn't get away.

It was a blast. We had a few drinks and had fun dancing around listening to great music. I have more pictures just have to get them uploaded at some point.

My Update for the week.

Well first off I hate my computer... I was writing a 750 word paper for school. I worked for 3 hours on it. And I went to save the last of it and when I hit save it disspeared off my screen. I spent 10 minutes trying to find it and all of the sudden it came up. I was relieved so I sent it in and got off the computer and left it alone for a while.

We went to the new safe-way on Friday. It is really big and we got alot of great deals. Kyle stopped and rented movies: the Ant Bully, Knocked Up and Collier and Co. And we got Pizza and had movie night.

We went to the Coolidge Cotton Day parade. It was so fun. It was Shelby's first parade every. She liked it. Then we went out on the quad and rode around.

Sunday we took the family out to an old abanded ranch house and watched the sun sat and then came home.

We had fun all weekend having time with the family and enjoying the nice cool weather we are having it has been in like the 70's and 80's all week.

Good News on my classes

I wiped out 4 months of my classes. I had 12 credit transfer over so it covers my sciences and electives. I am super excited about getting done earlier. That made it 14 months instead of 19 months.

My Birthday

My birthday was on Tuesday the 25th. We went to the casino on Sunday to celebrate. Didn't win to much but had fun trying to. Then on Tuesday we went to the park and had pizza and cupcakes and ice cream. It was me and kyle and the kids and my grandma and then all of his family. We had fun. I will have pictures when I can get them off of my Sister in laws camera.

Update On School

I am almost done with me 3rd week of school. I have gotten A's on all of my assignments. I am so proud of myself. Things are getting harder to do as the assignments are getting harder. I have 6 more weeks to go for these classes and then get to start back on the 4th of November.

Taking a break.

Do to what has happened in the past week. Kyle and I have decided to take a break from TTC for at least the next 8 months or so. I thought on Saturday that I was having a miscarriage. Well I went to the hospital yesterday because the bleeding got worse and found out I have what they call Menorrhagia which is having a very heavy period. I was told by the doctor and even if we were trying to get pregnant that it wouldn't happen do the the fact that my body isn't working right. It isn't cleaning it's self out right every month.So over the weekend I was not feeling well and I also lost a close friend do a misunderstanding.

Update on School

So far everything is going great. I got my first evaluation and I got an a for the first week in my GEN 105 class. Still waiting for one from my COM 140 class. We have nine weeks of classes for the next 18 months. My final class is over 05/25/2008.The nine weeks are called blocks and we have 4 boxes which is 8 classes well 10 counting the two that I am taking now.

I am proud of my self for going back to school. I didn't think it would ever happen maybe after the kids were older. But I am very glad that I was able to find a way to go back to school and still be able to be home with my kids.

An update

On Tuesday we added a new member to the family. His name is Captain. He is a 8 month old English bulldog. He is so cool. My grandma got him for me as an early birthday present. My gram loves me what can I say. I have always wanted to have one of these guys they are so ugly to some people but I think they are too cute.

Well I started school and so far I love it. I get to go on line and go to class any time I want and not have to worry what the kids are doing at home. I am able to log on and be cooking dinner at the same time. it is so great.

Shelby had her nine month check up yesterday. She is 20 lbs 4 oz and 29 inches long. Gabe is 7 inches taller then she is. They did a TB test and a Lead test on her yesterday and I have to go back on friday as a walk in to get the results read off to me for the TB test.

Life is changing fast

Well it has been almost a month since my last blog entry. I know I am behind on things, I have been busy. I have deiced to go back to school. I am going to get my associates of arts in business. I start online classes on Sept. 3 rd. It is great I don't have to leave the house to go to class. All I have to do is go and get on line and check in to a blog and do my homework. I can't wait to start.

Shelby has started to walk around the couch and holding on to everything and pulling up. She has 8 teeth. She is 9 months old today. She got a new carseat and she loves it. She is growing up so fast.

Gabe is still working on potty training. But it is getting better. He is not enjoying his sister new form of moving around. She likes to pull his hair and take away his toys and he knows he has to be nice to her or he gets in trouble so he just takes what she give him and then comes and tell me or his daddy or his gram that sister is being mean to him. But he always wants her to be on the floor with him where he and she can play. He is talking more and more every day. It is crazy how kids pick up every word you say.

I went and got my hair permed last week. I like the new style change. It is different, it was time to do something new with my hair.

The kids just got back from going away with granny and papa(kyles parents) they went up to prescott to visit some family that lives up there. We let both kids go for 4 days. It drove me crazy not to have my babies with me. Well they came home on friday after noon.Well last night shelby was really fussy and all gassy and she was running a fever too. Great right so now she is sick. She has a slight cold. And we are working on the gas problem. We were up for 3 hours with her last night just trying to get her to go potty # 2. Well we finally ended up giving her some sweet pototoes and it made her go. For some reason when she eats them she gets direaha. But now we know how to make her go with out all the meds.

And as for Gabe well he has a rash of some kind. Not sure what from. we thing it is from the laundry soap that they used. It isn't the same as what we use here at home on their clothes. I have to keep an eye on it and see what happens in the next few days. If it gets worse I will call the doctor and see.

Update on life

Well we have been really busy lately. Shelby is learning that she can pull up on things and Gabe well we are still working on the potty training. Some days are better then others. Today Gabe told me his "MOO" which is his cow flash light was really sick and he was sick too. Well "MOO" sounded sick(the batteries were dieing.)
Moo was given to Gabe by his gram(my grandma) for doing good on his potty chart for a whole month. They go every where together. Gabe has to have MOO to go to sleep. He likes having it when there is a storm so he always has a light with him.

So when we went in to town to get Shelby's weight check done we got something to make "MOO" feel better. Now they both are feeling much better. Shelby is weighing in at 18 lbs 13 oz. They didn't measure her height right for some reason last time she was around 27 inches long.

We have been having the monsoon storms here since about the 7th of July. And we have got a lot of rain around the state but not very much here in Florence. Kyle thought the other morning that he was going to be rained out. I pray some mornings that we don't get a rain out because that means a short pay check.

We have been helping a friend with his race car for weeks now. On Saturday we had planned on going to race it in Tucson. But that race was canceled do to rain. Some times I hate the rain.

We aren't pregnant this month but haven't given up trying. We are putting it in God's hands.

some people are just mean

Well yesterday I went down to my MIL house to drop off my hubby's grandma's AVON order that she had. So when I was down there we were chatting about a friend of mine named Sam who thinks that she might be pregnant .

Kyle's grandma pops off and say " so when are you and kyle going to have another one." well we have decided not to tell his family until we are pregnant and then if the have problem then oh well. They can't say anything about it. Well I told her that we were going to wait a while and kyle's sister cherish pops off and says " well in the world of Kandy and Kyle waiting a while is only like a month or two." and she was really mean about it.

Now she and her hubby have been trying for 5 years to have kids and she has had two miscarriages and every time that I have been pregnant she acts like I am a awful person because I don't have any problems getting or staying pregnant. She has weak eggs and can't seem to stay pregnant and she gets mad if anyone mentions someone else being pregnant. They really want kids but sometimes they don't act like it. They are in the process of trying to adopt. I wish them all the luck in the world.

I know it is a little soon to be trying to have another baby. But that is what we want to do. Gabe was 9 months old when I got pregnant with Shelby. He was 19 months old when she was born. So if I get pregnant in the next few months she won't be much older then that when the baby is born.

I just don't see why other people care what we do in our family. If it is what makes us happy then they should be happy for us.

4th of July

So yesterday everyone was over at my sister in laws house eating KFC chicken before went to the park to watch the fireworks. While all of the adults were packing last minute things in to the cars. I was sitting in the house with the kids and my grandma and Kyle's grandma. Well Gabe decided that he didn't get enough of the chocolate cake that we had for desert and went in the kicthen and got a big piece. We thought that he was in the toy room. He sneaked by us and went to get cake. So he comes out in to the living room and says " I eat more Cake." With a great big smile on his face. And cake everywhere. It was to funny. We had the cake put up on the counter in the kicthen and didn't think he could get it.It was really cute. I have pictures but have to get them off my SIL camera at here house.

The we went to the fireworks and had a blast.

shelby is 7 months old today

my little girl is growing up so fast... She sat up last night all by her self. She has started doing the army crawl all over the place. She says mama, dada,
bubby,baba,bye bye and hi. She is 7 months old today. I can't believe that she is that old already.

We have been potty traing gabe and he is doing really good. He decied that he was going to try and clean him self off yestarday after going to the bathroom. He was chasing his butt trying to clean it off. It was too funny not to share.

Kyle and I have decieded that July 8th is my last day on my yasmin. we are going to be TTC after that. I am not going to tell his family until we are sure that we are preganant and that I am not going to miscarrie . I have had that happen twice befor. And we told everyone and it just got their hopes up and we don't want to do that again. Plus they all think that I am still going to be on my pills until shelby is at least 2 years old. Well we changed our minds about the time line.

Venting......

I am so just done with things today. All I have heard today from my MIL is where is the money for this and that. I am sick of it. I know that we have to split some of the bills with her because of the set up with have but still they owe us 8 thousand bucks. And we haven't seen any of it. We have had to borrow money from my grandma to make some payments when we haven't had the money to. And we can't afford to pay her back because we have to cover for the money that they owe us on the house payments. I want to go get a job but don't want to be away from the kids. And I don't want to have to relay on my grandma to watch them for 8 hours a day. And to ask my MIL to watch them is like pulling teeth from a lion. She doesn't even come to my house to visit them at all. She only lives down the street from us and she can't come here for 5 minutes day.
Kyle wants us to try and have another baby in a few months... well I don't think it is a good Idea with all the stress of being broke and having to deal with all of the normal crap from his family. I don't know what to do anymore.
If anyone has any advice please feel free to give it to me.

Shelby got a new hat today from Jessica. It is really cute. I wanted to share the picture. I know it is on backwards but it is cute either way.

Is it the right time

Is it the right time??????? This has been the question puzzling me for the pass few months. Ok here is a little history. In the past few months I have swicthed from one B/C pill to another. In that month time spand I missed my period for almost 6 weeks. I went to the doctor and took some test and they said that they don't know why things got messed up but there was no chance that I was having a baby. I had shelby just 6 months ago. Well I will admit that I got my hopes up a little.

Well the other night my hubby and I were lying in bed talking and he blurts out " in august or when every this pack of pills is done I want you to stop taking time." I asked him if he was serious or just playing around because that is not something you just say and not mean. And he says "yeah I want you to stop them. I was another baby." I have been thinking that shelby and the other baby or babies as my grandma says will be 8 or 9 months different. Gabe and shelby are about that far apart. I mean Gabe was 19 months old when Shelby was born. I mean some people believe that if the kids are closer in age they get along better then kids that are years apart.

My brother is here

My 17th year old brother John came to arizona to visit me. He lives in California with my mom and other silblings. He comes to visit me every summer for about a month. He gets to hangout and enjoy being a kid and not have to worry about school and chores. He loves to cook. So he gets to help me make of our favorite meals. I am going to have him make some Irish friendship bread too. Then I am planning on teaching him how to make our family's light bread. It is really good. Well I better go. Have a good day all.

Shelby''s 6 Month Check up

Today we had Shelby's 6 Month Check up. She is now at 15 lbs 15 oz. And is 26 and 1/2 inches long. She is growing up so fast. I can't believe it.

My life

Well about me.... I am only 21 going on 22 and so far have had a life of an adult. I was the oldest kid in the house out of 4 of us. And everyone said that if I didn't move out of the small town Burney Ca, I was from that I wouldn't accomplish anything. Well due to some bad things happening in my family (that I will not discuss) I moved away from home at almost 16. I moved in with some other family members and started over my life as a new kid in a big town. Reno Nv. Well I spent time in reno and went to school and had some fun. I then moved to Phoenix Az. I was still living with my family and got to start over once again. This is my third school ever. I had to ride the bus for almost two hours just to get to school. But I made alot of really get friends there. It was my senior year and we moved once again to a town called Casa Grande, we still lived in Arizona but we lived more then two hours away from where my school was at. I move an hour from all of my friends. Well I finally finished school and got my diploma and went on to college. Well we had some ruff times in between the summer of my senior year and college starting. I couldn't find a job anywhere... not that I wasn't looking. Well due to me being a stupid kid and trying to go and do my own thing and not listen to the advice of my parents I got almost kicked out of my house like 3 times.

Well I finally found my true love at walmart of all places. my best friend Sam and I were christmas shopping and I met Kyle. 7 months later I was kicked out of my house and living with him and his family out in Florence Az. Then we got married in August of 2004 and then a year later we had our first baby... Gabriel Zachary Cox. Was born in April of 2005. Then we had a miscarriage in November of 2005. And then in November of 2006 we had our second baby Shelby Joyce Cox was born.

We live a simple life out in the middle of the sticks out side of town about 13 miles. It is quite out here the only people that live close to us is Kyle's family. We all live on a 5 acre piece of land that is divided in to 3 lots.

I am proud of my life and what I have done with it so far. I have had alot of things to be happy for and some that changed my life to the better. I wouldn't change it for anything.
